A Saucy Striptease?

Our third romantic birthday gift idea for the man in your life is definitely for extroverts only. Or closet extroverts.

Romantic Birthday Gift Idea #3: Saucy Striptease

Yes, it's a cliché: all your man really wants for a gift is you.

But guess what? It's true. Your man loves you and wants to spend intimate time with you. And on his birthday, what better gift to give him than some tasty eye candy? Not only is a striptease by the woman he loves every man's dream, but if you're comfortable enough to try it, it can be one of the most empowering things you've ever done.

Invest in some tasteful DVDs that teach you the basics of striptease. There are a lot to choose from, so do a little research to see what kind suits your personality best. Have fun at your local lingerie shop choosing something comfortable and sexy, and for the week leading up to his birthday, when your man isn't at home, practice, practice, practice.

Invite him over for dinner on his birthday, but don't tell him about your gift yet. When he arrives, sit him on the couch and tell him you're going to get his present. Put on some sultry music, sneak off and change into your outfit. Come back to where your man is sitting, and dance your heart out.

No joke – he'll be eating out of the palm of your hand for the rest of the week . . . or maybe the rest of the month. Stop thinking of this as just a romantic birthday gift - it will spice up the romance in your relationship for a long time to come.

A variation on this theme is to learn a pole dancing routine, but this depends on your having some sort of pole available, in a location that ensures privacy.

Belly dancing is an equally effective alternative.

More Romantic Birthday Gifts for Men

Still racking your brain for a novel romantic birthday gift for him? Here's another one to consider:

Romantic Birthday Gift Idea #2: Tokens of Your Affection

Take a trip to your local craft supply shop and purchase a little cloth drawstring bag. Find some heavy but decorative card stock and some very small stickers – things like hearts, stars, and lips. Using the card stock, cut out 12-15 one-inch circles. With a thin-tipped marker, write small messages around the rim of each token, one per circle, such as:

"token for a kiss"
"good for one hug"
"make one wish"
"massage token"

Place an appropriate sticker in the center of each token, and put them into the drawstring bag.

The ultimate romance of this gift is that it's a gift that keeps on giving. Make sure he doesn't use all the tokens on the same day – after all, shouldn't he get free kisses on his birthday anyway?
